Gentle Explorers at MOFP (GEM) offers a sensory-supportive drop-in program in a smaller, quieter setting. Designed for children who benefit from low-stimulation environments, GEM provides a space where children can explore, connect, and regulate at their own pace while caregivers build community and access helpful resources.
Each session features sensory-rich materials, calm-down corners, themed days (sound play, textures, water play), and a listening station to support emotional and sensory regulation. Caregivers can participate alongside their children or connect with other parents in a relaxed space.
When: Mondays, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (excluding statutory holidays)
Where: Marpole Oakridge Family Place, 8188 Lord Street, Vancouver
