Mount Pleasant Family Centre Society is a Family Resource Program. (FRP) We are a community-based parent/child interactive centre for families with children ages 0-6 years. Our programs are preventative in nature – core services include: family support, play-based learning, early learning and literacy, parent education, and information and referrals. Family Resource Programs bring children and parents together to strengthen parenting, promote social networking, reduce isolation and promote community cohesion. FRPs are grounded in the belief that consistent positive parenting practices and secure, healthy parent-child relationships are fundamental factors in all aspects of healthy child development.
