This program supports children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities through literacy development activities to enhance and improve their overall well being. Activities encompass social-emotional support, empowerment and community building, academic and physical literacy. The program will provide a space for physical and psychological safety, supportive relationships, opportunities to belong, provide opportunities for positive social norms, feeling of importance and inclusion, and opportunities for self growth and skill building. The program will register up to 24 children per school, per cycle (3 cycles in a school year). The first half (1hour) of the program will focus on academic and social literacy. The second half (1 hour) will focus on physical literacy and outdoor play.
