Promotes interaction among different generations, mainly between youth and seniors, by doing activities together: cooking, crafting, playing games, sharing life skills

Monthly drop-in for family childcare providers and the children they care for. Facilitated by Westcoast staff.   Location: West Side Family Place 2819 West 11th Ave Vancouver, B.C V6K 2M2

Ages ten to 16. Drop in to enjoy air hockey, table hockey, ping pong, pool, foosball, karaoke, BBQs, computer games, basketball, volleyball, music, floor hockey, cooking, get help with homework or just hang out.

Daily drop-in session for families with children 0-5. Families connect, play and learn together in a welcoming, early learning environment. Trained staff provide information and referral, and parent education and support. For parents, grandparents, family members, nannies, caregivers and children.  

Drop in at Ray-Cam Family Place every Monday for parents and children to discuss child and family issues, safety and support. Light lunch provided. The Hub Coordinator is available afterwards for one on one discussions and supports.

For families with children aged 0-6. Fun, creative activities include puzzles, arts and crafts, educational toys, story time, music, cricle time and baby corner. The goal is to develop emotional, social, cognitive and physical skills.

First Nations arts and crafts, hot snacks, storytelling and special events.

Cooking program that teaches participants to learn healthy eating, shopping and cooking skills. Families improve skills and confidence to cook and prepare nutritious and appetizing meals. Healthy recipes to make healthier choices.
