Promotes interaction among different generations, mainly between youth and seniors, by doing activities together: cooking, crafting, playing games, sharing life skills

Monthly drop-in for family childcare providers and the children they care for. Facilitated by Westcoast staff.   Location: West Side Family Place 2819 West 11th Ave Vancouver, B.C V6K 2M2

Ages ten to 16. Drop in to enjoy air hockey, table hockey, ping pong, pool, foosball, karaoke, BBQs, computer games, basketball, volleyball, music, floor hockey, cooking, get help with homework or just hang out.

Daily drop-in session for families with children 0-5. Families connect, play and learn together in a welcoming, early learning environment. Trained staff provide information and referral, and parent education and support. For parents, grandparents, family members, nannies, caregivers and children.  

For families with children aged 0-6. Fun, creative activities include puzzles, arts and crafts, educational toys, story time, music, cricle time and baby corner. The goal is to develop emotional, social, cognitive and physical skills.

Latin-American Family Drop-In. Program for Spanish speaking families with children 0-5yrs. Come, play and interact with other families in Spanish.

For families with children 2-5yrs old. Come and play and move around. Families and asked to tag along as your child builds on fundamental movement skills. In collaboration with Little Mountain Neighbourhood House. Starting May –June 2015 again.

Drop in at Ray-Cam Family Place every Monday for parents and children to discuss child and family issues, safety and support. Light lunch provided. The Hub Coordinator is available afterwards for one on one discussions and supports.

For Children 0-5yrs old and parents/caregivers will have an opportunity to socialize, participate in art/craft activities, sing songs and read stories in Circle Time. Snacks provided by families. Monthly visits by VCH Nurse and VPL Librarian.
